Are you tired of unwanted spam text ruining your premium iPhone 13 experience? If yes, then these simple hacks can be of great use for you. This hidden iPhone feature can be accessed in iPhone’s internal settings that can help iOS users to filter out unwanted text. Spam consists of unsolicited and unwanted text messages that are usually generated from a computer and are sent to your phone via an email address or instant messaging account for marketing of a particular product or service. Check out the step-by-step iPhone 13 tips and tricks to filter out unwanted spam messages. Notably, this also applies to iPhone 12 too.
Step 1: Go to your iPhone’s settings and open the message menu.
Step 2: Next, turn on the ‘filter unknown senders’ in the menu slide. Once done, no unknown spam message will be received in your primary mailing lists. You canʼt open any links in a message from an unknown sender until you add them to your contacts or reply to the message.
There are some alternative ways as well to avoid spam messages on your iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. You can install spam filter apps to block unwanted spam on your iPhone. These applications detect spam, filter the emails and help the users to block the junk emails or delete them. These apps also prevent new spam emails coming to your inbox to improve the filtering process.
The third trick to block Junk messages or Email in your iPhone is by blocking spam mails in individual mail apps like Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, etc. To do this you’ll simply have to login to the desktop version of your individual mail apps and blocking the spam message sender one by one by opening each of the mails separately. Once you ‘block the sender,’ the person can never send you spam mail again in future.
You can even avoid junk mail by marking it as spam and then flagging the mail in iCloud mail.
